For attorneys

Pro bono that arrives ready to move.

Most solos would take more pro bono work. What stops them is not willingness, it is the twelve unbilled hours before the matter even has a shape.

We remove those hours. You get a scoped matter, a free case management workspace, and a first draft already in the file.

The offer

Why it is worth your time

The matter arrives scoped

You see the practice area, the jurisdiction, the deadline posture, and the ask before you commit. You can say no, and nothing happens.

Case management, free

Deadlines, tasks, documents, and correspondence in one workspace, set up before your first call. No seat fee, no trial that expires.

The first draft is already done

Intake summary, issue spotting, and a first draft are waiting for you. Your hours go to judgment and strategy, not to reading the file cold.

Limited scope is welcome

Take the motion, the letter, or the hearing. A finished limited-scope engagement helps more than a full representation you cannot sustain.

CLE while you volunteer

Our sessions on AI-assisted practice, drafting, and review are free to volunteers, whether or not you have taken a matter yet.

A real backstop

A referring legal aid center stays in the loop, and if a matter turns out to be wrong for you, it comes back to us rather than stalling.

How to start

  1. Write to us

Send your jurisdictions, your practice areas, and honestly how much time you have. A few hours a month is a real answer and we will work with it.

  2. Onboard in a single session

We run you through the workspace, the review standard, and how AI drafting fits into the matter. It takes about as long as a CLE, and it counts as one where accredited.

  3. Get matched

We send you matters that fit your practice and your capacity. You take the ones you want.

  4. Do the lawyering

The drafting, organizing, and summarizing are handled. The professional judgment is yours, and so is the signature.

You review everything the model produced before it goes anywhere. That is the deal, and it is not negotiable.

The fine print, in plain terms

You are the lawyer. We are the infrastructure.

The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, not a law firm. We do not practice law, we do not supervise your representation, and we do not take a fee. The attorney-client relationship runs between you and the client.

You remain responsible for conflicts, competence, confidentiality, and malpractice coverage, exactly as in any other matter. Nothing a model produced leaves the workspace without your review.

Take a matter.
